Unlimited Business Internet Phone Service Comparison.

Business Internet Phone Service
In the old days, you know, way back in 2005 or so, businesses wouldn't have dreamed of using VoIP because of the lag times and dropped calls. But, in the last few years, there have been huge advances in VoIP technology and in compression technology, so that there are no longer problems with dropped calls and lag times due to slow packet deliver.

Now, businesses can get Voice over IP phone systems for just pennies on the dollar when compares to wire line services, and the taxes and fees are so much less, that a business manager can now put in a whole PBX VoIP system for what it used to cost for one month's phone bill. With VoIP phones, a business doesn't have to pay PIC-C fees anymore, which use to run $2.75-$5.00 per line per month. And, since VoIP isn't really a "Phone Service" per say, like the old wire line plans, your Local County, City and State can't charge you taxes on your phone bill anymore.

Back in 2003, I had 3 business phones in my office, and they cost me like $175.00 per month for the local service and the fees and features, and then another 10 cents per minute for the long distance service. I can remember having to deal with $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 phone bills and wondering when the prices were going to go down. Then, in 2005, I signed up with Pioneer Long Distance service and my phone bill dropped by about 60%. My per minute dropped to 2.7 cents state to state, and it really helped with my bottom line.

Now, 4 years later, my bill has dropped again, and it's really come at the right time considering the economy. Now, instead of paying Qwest $175.00 per month for phone service, plus another $400.00 per month to Pioneer for long distance service, I pay Packet8 around $120.00 for everything. While packet8 isn't the cheapest business VoIP solutions provider any more, I've been with them for awhile, and why mess with a good thing. They give me a great product, for a good price, with great customer service.

Not all of you businessmen and businesswomen are going to want packet8, because it's not the best fit for everyone, so what I've done on the other pages is listed what I think are the better business VoIP providers, along with their prices and link to their website so you can get more information. Some of the companies give me a kickback if you buy, so go ahead and grab a business VoIP Plan while you're here.
